I am in a confusion as to whether there is any limit how many times a women can avail maternity leaves as per statutory laws. Is it only once, twice or irrespective of number of children??

Hi Rahul,
As far as maternity benefit is concerned it will cover two live births...and fully paid leaves for a female employee can be maximum up to 12 weeks...prenatal 4 weeks and post natal 8 weeks...
In case of miscarriage paid leaves up to 6 weeks..
Condition: The employee should have rendered continuous service of 80 days preceding the date of delivery.
Hope I am correct in this ...
