Could you please answer the following questions regarding Fire NOC / Fire Licence?
1. When should a FIRE NOC be obtained by an industry? Before, during, or after construction? Before starting operations or during operation?
2. What does the AP Fire Service Act say regarding NOC for an industry?
3. Is the NOC required for construction or for running an industry?
4. How long is the NOC valid? Is it forever or time-bound?
5. If an extra production block is planned, is another NOC required?
6. What about a running industry? Does the Fire Department give NOC for operation?
7. Without a fire NOC, can an industry run legally? If not, why? Which act or rule mandates it?
8. What is a fire licence? To what does it apply?
9. Is the licence valid forever or is it time-bound?
10. What actions can the fire services department initiate on industries as per the act if they do not have a NOC or Licence? Are there any cases of such actions?
