In addition depending on the number of employees and / or teams you can
organize a 'Christmas Carol' singing competition among the various teams.
Alternatively, approach one of the nearby church youth groups well in advance and get them to come and sing the carols at your work place. You can make copies of they carols they will sing and distribute it to your employees to encourage them to sing along.
You can even
allot (maybe by a draw of lots)different teams to do the following to brighten up the office and share the Christmas spirit and ring in the New Year.. Budgets for each team will be allocated by the management or the HR coordinating this event.
Team A to Make the Christmas Tree,
Team B - To make a Crib,
Team C - Decorate the office,
Team D - To organize the party games / entertainment
Team E - To organize the snacks/ dinner
Team F - To work out an outreach to an old age home/ orphanage/ hospital etc. ( you can combine this with some more teams)
