HR AS A CAREER - what are the aspects which i need to be updated with?

Dear Seniors, I have being working in a consulting firm as HR consultant(End to end recruitment process only ) for the past two years and recently have being promoted as a TL(from past 5months).I am eager to sharpen my career in HR stream itself.I have done my MSc. Kindly guide me how i can proceed with my career ie if i have to get into COMPANIES as an HR, what are the aspects which i need to be updated with ie Do i need to take up some Management courses or any generalist courses which would be helpful for the same.

There is no any separate course for HR Generalists. It is better to do MBA or E-MBA. If you wanna be HR Generalist then you should enhance your CoreHR skills too apart from recruitment.
