Greetings,
Did your cousin receive any Letter of Intent or Offer Letter from the HR , who interviewed her at the campus ? What have the campus recruitment team at her college said about this ? Whom have you spoken so far at TCS, on this ?
It would be an year soon, hence we need to look at the communication and identify if there were gaps, through which this must have slipped through.
Ideally, during campus placement, it may take a quarter to place the candidate who had received the Offer Letter. This letter shares the intent of offering a job to the candidate and is not a Joining Letter . These things may sound technical, but HR process works through them. Once a candidate is issued an Offer Letter, an internal alignment needs to be drawn before asking the candidate to join. The resourcing team finds billability in projects and place the new hires based on their skill-sets and competencies. Sometimes this alignment is not found, hence the candidate , doesn't get inducted as an employee.
The good part is, your cousin was selected by TCS, which certifies her standards for any top MNC.
It would be ideal, if we can get a reply from TCS HR . In the mean while, please ask your cousin to apply with other firms. Incase TCS doesn't employ her, she will still have a job in her hand.
I request her to maintain the document, incase she appears for any interview by TCS at a later point of time. This would be her point of reference, how she had communicated with them.
Here are few more solutions discussed, please help her find a way out.
Offer roll back
Wishing her all the best !
