UG Degree Through Distance Education And PG As Regular - Difficult In Finding A Job?

One of my friend is a 6 Years experienced IT Professional. He was with the same company for the past 5 years. His educational qualifications include BSc (Correspondance / Distance Education) and MSc IT (Regular). He is planning to switch job to another employer but the case is since he has distance educational qualification in UG. Will Companies recognize it? if so, please name some. Kindly help us.

Please give more information about when, in which field, and from where he got his BSc? Did his present company not recognise his qualifications? The must have if he has been with them for 6 years. So, what makes you think other companies do not..
