Struggling with Professional Tax Registration in Chennai Since 2007 – Can Anyone Help?

Dear All, can anyone help me to get registered with professional tax registration for the Chennai location? We have started our office in the year 2007, and since then, I've been trying to complete the required formalities, but I have not received any response. Kindly assist me with the necessary formalities and forms.

It has been more than 5 years since the establishment started. If you are going for PT registration now, you need to pay the arrears from 2007 with a penalty.

Documents Required for Obtaining PT & Company Tax Assessment Numbers

Documents / Details required:
- Copy of MOU/MOA
- Rental agreement of Chennai branch
- List of employees & their total gross income (April to September & October to March)

Statutory / Licence Fees

- Deductions as per PT slab given by the corporation
- Company Tax – RS. 1000/-
- It should be paid once every six months
