Overtime Pay UAE LABOUR LAW

PLEASE HELP.
I am very confused for computation of holiday pay. I have a guidelines states that should be paid 250% of the gross hourly rate.Likewise 150% for firday.
If the salary is 2000 AED fixed monthly rate. Friday is paid leave.
How will I compute if employee works 5 hours in friday?
Is this correct?
2000/30/8*1.50* 5hrs = 62.45 (Friday OT)+2000 = 2062.45
but others computed as this:
2000 / 30 / 8 * .50 * 5hrs = 20 ( Friday OT) + 2000 = 2020.00
because the 100% in friday is already included in 2000?
as well as in holiday computation.

Hi,
Your calculation itself telling your second calculation is wrong. As per the above, the hourly wage is Rs. 8 and for 5hours it will be Rs. 40 and 150% is Rs. 60 approximately.

Dear Mr Jewel,
According to the UAE Labour Laws -
The normal hours it will be calculated as 1.25
Friday it will be calculated as 1.50
The Public Holidays will be 2.50
So, the calculation for Friday 05 hours will be as mentioned below:
2000/30/8*5Hrs*1.50 = 62.45 (Friday OT)+2000 = 63.00 + 2000 = 2063/- AED
Best regards,

The computation of houry or daily rates in india is done by dividing the salary by 26 days to account for weekly offs. This is as per supreme court guidelines. Is there a similar system in UAE ?
