New Employee Opts Out of PF Deduction: Is Employer Still Liable for Contributions?

Millenniums
If a new employee doesn't want PF to be deducted and submits a letter to HR, and their basic pay is more than ₹10,000/-, does the employer have any liability to pay the employer contribution? Can anyone help with this?

If an employee's salary is more than Rs. 6500/- per month at the time of entering the organization, he will not come under the purview of the PF Act. Therefore, you do not need to deduct from the employee or contribute from the employer's side.

Thank you, Rajasekaran, for your guidance. I was informed that new employees need to submit Form 11 or a letter to HR requesting that the employer not deduct. This clarification has resolved my doubt. Thank you once again.
