Dear Sir,

This question is related to the Maharashtra area. There is an observation of Factory Inspectors' visit about the Display Notice Board at the Factory Gate as an Abstract of the Factory Act - 1948 and Maharashtra Factories Rules 1963 in Form 26 shall be displayed. I have a copy of the Abstract of the Factory Act, which has differences and is much lengthier for displaying on the board at the Factory gate. Also, I am not able to get the content of the Maharashtra Factories Rules 1963 in Form 26 for display purposes.

I need your sincere help to know the contents of the Display board that have to be displayed at the Factory Gate. Also, update me about other display boards that have to be displayed at the Factory Gate, other than the Abstract of the Factory Act.

Thank you.

Yes, sir. It is a requirement under the Maharashtra Factory Rules, and we are facing the same problem here. However, we are now displaying Form 26 as required. Additionally, we need to display another board, which is a green board outside the factory. This is also a requirement for MFR under Section 41-B and 112 Rule-73-P.

Hazardous Waste Display Board for Outside Gate of Factory

A hazardous waste display board should be installed outside the factory gate to inform employees, visitors, and the public about the presence of hazardous materials on the premises. This board plays a crucial role in promoting safety and raising awareness about potential risks associated with handling hazardous waste.

The display board should include important information such as the types of hazardous materials stored on-site, safety protocols and procedures, emergency contact numbers, and proper disposal methods. Clear and concise signage is essential to ensure that everyone understands the risks involved and knows how to respond in case of an emergency.

By providing this vital information in a visible location, the factory demonstrates its commitment to safety and environmental responsibility. Regularly updating the display board with the latest information and ensuring that it is easily accessible to all stakeholders are key steps in maintaining a safe work environment.

Remember, safety is everyone's responsibility, and proper communication through tools like a hazardous waste display board is essential for preventing accidents and protecting the well-being of all individuals on the premises.

Thank you for considering the importance of implementing a hazardous waste display board at the factory gate.
