Position Description:

The ITSM (IT Service Management) Systems Analyst plays a leading role in the administration. The role is to provide design and configuration support, and ensure the stability, integrity, accuracy, and operationa of the system. This is achieved by working closely with IT and the business to develop sound ITIL based processes and procedures that fully support and add value to our business. The Systems Analyst will also participate in design discussions, CMDB administration, and other ITIL and ITSM functions. The Systems Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, design, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of the IT investments.



Requirements:

- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT Service Management.

- Experience in administering, maintaining, and configuring any SM tool.

- Provide leadership in coordinating, identifying, and translating business requirements into ITSM.

- Works to enhance, formalize, and standardize the ITSM processes and procedures across all critical applications and business units.

- Provide backup/backfill support as required when the primary contact is unavailable.

- knowledge of client server architectures, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, and associated technologies.

- Strong analytic and research skills with a keen sense of awareness.

- Actively search for ways to improve processes and add business value.

- Ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly resolve issues.

- Excellent communication and diplomatic skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

- BE/B.Tech /B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline or equivalent work experience.

- ITIL Certification is must

- 5+ years' experience in the IT industry.

- 3+ years' prior experience with either Service Now , ITSM, BMC Remedy, CA Service Desk, or HP Service Manager is a plus.

- 3+ years' experience working with ITIL framework and IT Service Management.

- 3+ years' experience analyzing system failures to minimize outages and interruptions or equivalent. -
