The Role of Trainers in Delivering Effective Solutions
As a trainer, we always deliver one module or another, similar to a medical representative promoting and selling a brand of medicine or an LIC agent selling a policy or plan. I am not referring to any specific profession; all are excellent and good. I am talking about the approach.
As trainers, we are at a very primitive stage. We tend to focus on delivering one or two training programs, whether they are needed or not. We often believe that by developing one or two modules, we have become trainers. We try to sell our programs, regardless of whether they are required.
The Need for Solution-Oriented Training
The need of the hour is to provide solutions. When I mention solutions, I am referring to improvement. Based on the needs of organizations or individuals, we should design and develop modules or training programs to offer solutions. It is essential to understand the customer's requirements and provide solutions rather than just selling one or two training programs.
Experience in HR and Training
I have worked as an HR professional and change agent for 18 years, with the last 7 years focused on training, coaching, and consulting. I have been involved in employee development through training since 1994, mainly in the manufacturing sector. Our goal is to enhance the performance of organizations and individuals. We take on consultancy and training projects to address various challenges faced by clients in the Manufacturing, Service, Educational, and Social Sectors. By understanding our clients' needs, we support them in overcoming these challenges and aim to improve performance.
We should emphasize solutions rather than focusing on one or two programs.
