I started deducting professional tax; are employees demanding salary slips? Is it necessary to give salary slips to employees? My company is in the field of logistics (a forwarding agent).

Eligibility for Provident Fund, ESIC, and Professional Tax

Please also explain what will be the employee limit to be eligible for Provident Fund, ESIC, and Professional Tax.

I will go with what the rest says. It is highly important for an employee to have a payslip because if the employee moves to another company, this should be submitted as proof. This is mandatory, and every employer has to provide payslips.
