Struggling with Untransferred Family Pension Funds After Job Changes – How Can I Retrieve Them?

Sanjay Khopade
I have changed jobs. From the first employer, the PF was transferred to the second employer, but the FPF (Family Pension Fund) amount was not transferred. The same thing happened when I changed jobs again. As a result, I have the FPF amount with two employers and one RPFC. How do I get this amount back?

I understand the issues you are facing with the PF authority. The EPF and FPF are also not being transferred to the concerned section, which is the main problem for the employees. Many employees are withdrawing their PF because of this issue. In cases where transfers are made from one account to another, the amount is not reflecting in the current account.

Transfer Issues with PF Accounts

In transfer cases, when you leave the present company, they provide the PF amount from the present company but fail to remit the PF from the previous company. Upon checking, significant differences are noticed. There are crores of rupees in such PF accounts with the PF department.

I am unaware of how the online system for PF works now.

Dear Sanjay,

First of all, please confirm if you have completed 10 years of EPF/EPS contributions. If yes, you are required to apply for the issuance of a scheme certificate under EPS. This can be done by filling out Form 10C and providing family details, accompanied by photographs of family members along with their age proofs. Submit the completed form to the concerned EPFO. Upon receiving the scheme certificate, proceed to fill out Form-13 for the transfer of EPS accumulation. Ensure that the form is accompanied by the scheme certificate for the successful transfer of accumulation.

Thanks & Regards,
