Dear Seniors, kindly guide me if there is a Sunday on election day. Can we get an additional holiday for this?

Thank you.

Yes, Mr. Deshai is absolutely right. I would like to add for your information that if it is a Sunday or any other holiday observed by your establishment, there is no need to provide a substituted holiday.

Legal Requirements for Continuous Process Industries

As per legal requirements, if any industry falls under "continuous process industries," only short leave may be given just to facilitate the casting of votes. A full day leave is not required.

In our organization, which is a continuous production company, we allow employees to arrive late by 2 hours to cast their votes. Employees who arrive 2 hours late on the same day are checked to confirm if they have indeed voted, based on the voter's mark on their finger.
