Understanding Bonus Eligibility and Minimum Wage Updates in Andhra Pradesh: Who Qualifies?

Good afternoon to all seniors. Could you please provide details regarding bonus payments and the recently revised minimum wages to be paid in Andhra Pradesh?

Regarding bonuses, I have an idea about the rules, i.e., how much should be paid. My question is: who is eligible for bonuses? Do we need to pay bonuses to contract labor and casual labor?

You need to pay a bonus for casual laborers/Gate Casuals/Badilis. It should not be less than the AP minimum wages. The principal employer should pay the bonus/salaries, etc., to the contract labor only if the contractor fails to pay within the due date. The ceiling for the bonus is Rs 3500 per month. Bonus payment should be calculated based on (Basic + DA + Retaining Allowances, etc.). The minimum bonus is 8.33%, and the maximum bonus is 20%.

Dear seniors, I need the bonus slab for contract labor, meaning casual labor exceeding Rs 3500.00. Why not increase the slab for bonus?
