Conduct a Personal SWOT Analysis
First and foremost, you should conduct a SWOT analysis on yourself. Find out, either on your own or with the help of your close friends and relatives, what your core strengths and weaknesses are. Then, identify the opportunities available to you. Threats refer to the competition in this field. There is still plenty of room for growth in the training field.
Training and Development
Attend a Train the Trainer program, develop modules available on the internet, and prepare relevant tools for these modules. Start experimenting with a small team. Gather feedback from the participants and work on improving the areas that need development.
Gaining Experience
You can also consider joining a small training firm to learn the ropes. Become their in-house trainer for some time before you venture out as an independent trainer, if that is your goal. Read numerous books and articles on topics in which you excel. Continuously sharpen your skills.
