Dear All,
Please tell me Is profession tax applicable in Kerala and Assam.
I have also searched a lot on this but not got any right information about it.

Yes profession tax is applicable in Kerala. It has to be paid twice in one year ie before march 31 and September 31. It has to be paid to the municipality or panchayath. It has to be paid in according to the schedule. Please see the attachment.
