Seeking Help: How Can a Nominee Claim PF Refund After Employee's Passing and Company Closure?

KokilaThilagar
The employee passed away 4 years ago, and the organization/company where he worked has also closed. How can the nominee (wife of the employee) obtain the PF refund? Could anyone help me with the procedure to get the PF refund?

For claiming PF withdrawal benefits and pension, you have to fill up Form No. 20 and 10D. To submit Form 20 and 10D, you need to attach the original death certificate, nomination certificate, and a list of surviving members of the deceased person with the forms. Regarding authorized signatures on PF forms, a government gazetted officer such as the Tahsildar, Collector, or CEO of a government corporation, etc., can sign these forms.
