I am working on overseas policies in my organization. I need to understand what exists in other organization so that i know that we are in line with the industry. It would be really great if you could help me and provide some inputs on these policies that exist in your current organization or in your previous organization. The policies are:
Children education policy in overseas: when people go abroad for assignments, are there any such policies of children education in your company to help the employees educate their children in a better way.
Overseas/India transfer related benefits: when people travel on short term or long term assignments, there are certain benefits in terms of logistics that is provided by your company like transportation, tickets and boarding pass, freight charges for carrying their luggage from the airport to the accommodation like movers and packers, etc.
Home support benefits: what kind of home support benefits is provided by your company to the employees traveling overseas or within India like the brokerage charges, rental advance for the employees, arranging for some accommodation, etc.
Home travel policy: What kind of policy does your company have for employees who go on long term assignments and when they come back home once in a year does your company pay for them and their family travel? What apart from this does the company provide.
Leave policy in your company for India.
Mobile reimbursement, data card policy for employees.
Car policy which would be for the senior management
Business tour policy: does your company have any tie up with the hotel chains which can help employees to find hotels at a discounted rate when they are on business tours.
