Understanding PF Balance SMS: EE Amount and ER Amount

I have checked my PF balance and received an SMS regarding the same. The SMS mentioned the amount in two heads: ER Amount and EE Amount. I would like to understand the meaning of these heads (EE Amount and ER Amount).

Thank you.

EE is the employee's contribution with interest credited towards accumulated PF as of the given date in the SMS. ER is the employer's contribution with interest credited towards accumulated PF as of the given date in the SMS.
