The responsibilites of a HR Generalist will be
1.Will essentially be managing all the transaction and tactical functions in HR as an administrative and employee relations functional expert. This being the baseline expectation
2.Responsible for the identification, diagnosis, and resolution of HR related situations calling on appropriate resources to resolve the issue.
Provides direction and guidance to tactical and strategic process improvements and establishing policies/standards.
Work and partner with the shared services team in the areas of c&b, operations, training and staffing.
Assists in formulation of manpower objectives, staffing plans, and individual, team and organization development plans.
Administers compensation and benefits plans.
Continuously improves company's image as an attractive place to work.
3.Lead and be part of multi-function teams on specific business initiatives
Serves as a business partner to management and participates in the development and implementation of human resource plans to support business objectives.
Will be expected to drive along with the business groups development and employee communication efforts
Acts as a key advisor to senior management in influencing direction of the people strategies
4.Consults with management and employees on human resource related issues and policies.
5.Ensures employee relations legal requirements are met to minimize exposure and liability.
6.Supports and implements top down and bottoms up communication channels.
7.Manages performance review process and timelines. Compiles Industry data on attrition, variable pay, retention strategies etc.
8.Assists in the formulation of rewards and recognition programs, retention programs and other softer HR initiatives
