I, Sathyamoorthy, would like to thank you for an essential presentation about the need for safety, which is indeed a requirement forever. I would like to share my views on achieving "zero incidents" as follows:

Achieving Zero Incidents

Safety is a technique that comes through proper training, clear work knowledge, patience, and secure conditions. Violation or incompetence in any of these key areas will lead to damage or an accident.

Achieving "zero incidents" in a factory is not an overnight matter but will happen when teamwork is in perspective with the following:

1. A strong bridge between management and its staff. HR has to play a vital role.
2. A total safety work atmosphere should be secured by the executing person for the assignments.
3. Management should provide the necessary budget for procuring safety equipment and tools.
4. In-plant training for all employees about safety and conducting monthly safety meetings. Safety Officers should keep up with updated techniques.
5. The maintenance team must take responsibility for the safe operation of machines.
6. Production should be aware of the maximum possible output and not panic or be overambitious.
7. Proper work method training.
8. Men at work should realize and have self-responsibility, spirituality, and dedication.

Thanks & Regards,

V. Sathyamoorthy
