Dear Ramesh,
Kutoz.. You are superb now a days on our network.. People are getting benefited from your contributions. Thanks for sharing & keep up the good work.
Once again you started a very good topic i.e. BBS. As we have already discussed that it is our "Attitude" or "Behavior", which matters. Sometime people become lethargic towards safety but it is our prime duty to motivate them & change their behavior. Though it a herculean task but once it is done, nothing can be batter than that.
Regards,
Inderjeet Singh,
"Born to lead."

Thanks Mr.Inderjeet. Yes what you said is absolutely right. It is our attitude, behaviours and actions which will fix the rights and wrongs at work place. Safety habits must be inculcated among the employees for safe and accident free working. It is attitude which makes the difference......................
Thanks again.

Bhardwaj,,
As Mr.Inder said now a days you playing a main role in our forum in short period you had shared lot of documents, data with our team.
Let’s go to the topic.,, Behavior-based safety (BBS) is the "application of science of behavior change to real world problems".
How BBS system became success..,,, Heinrich's data does not tell why the person did what they did to cause the accident, just that accident occurred. BBS programs delve into the acts that cause the accident. It delves into the workplace; environment, equipment, procedures and attitudes.
Please see the attached Behavior base safety model for your reference it simply explain about BBS system.
We had enough discussion on this topic in our earlier days Mr.Bhardwaj may you can use our reSearch tab and take a look on it.
Thanks .,, keep on going. . .

Dear Raghu,
Very nice and thorow PPT. As very well mentioned in the PPT ,It is very important that to create and maintain Safe and Accident free Environment the Supervisors are expecred to :
1 Control the work environment.
2 Enforce existing work rules.
3 Constantly reassess conditions.
4 Improve the system or process.
5 Involve employees.
6 Bring safety concerns to management.
7 Serve as company liaison.
Moreover we can also take help from outside training agencies. Here in our plant we organise 5 day Training Camp from Civil Defence Camps (Govt. Agency) after every six months. They use to impart training on Fire Fighting,First Aid,Emergency Rescue programmes. This has benefitted us a lot. They use practical methods for the same which are liked by our workforce.
