Some of the activities you can consider are:
1. **Motivational or Developmental Lunch Talk:** Get a consultant trainer to speak on a pre-selected topic during lunchtime (could be 1 to 1 1/2 hours) and provide free lunch for all attendees. The talks could be in a series if it is too difficult to cover within one talk.
2. **Motivational Book Presentation Competition:** Get some interesting motivational books, e.g., Napoleon Hill, Brian Tracy, etc., and have a competition for presentations. Invite participation from staff by having them register. All registrants are given the selected book for free. The winners will be awarded a book purchase voucher, which also encourages reading.
3. **Book Sharing and Voucher Awards:** Invite staff to share the best book they have read for the year. Also, have a book purchase voucher for all speakers. The Learning Development Department may want to assist them in preparing their sharing talk.
Hope these ideas could help!
