Struggling to Withdraw PF Money After Leaving Job: What Are My Options?

pp2027
I left my company 2 years ago, but to date, I have not received my PF fund. The previous company director has not signed the PF withdrawal form. Can I withdraw my PF amount? Please advise.

Thank you.

Try to contact the regional commissioner with your grievances; they will get it signed by your employer. You must go with a written application along with Form 19 and 10C if your employer is not signing your Form 19 and 10C.

Alternatively, you may transfer your funds to your new account with your current employer. Hopefully, you will get your funds with a little effort.

You can get the PF withdrawal Form, i.e., 19 & 10C, authenticated by any one of the following:
1. Manager of the Bank where you are holding an account
2. Head of any Educational Institution
3. A Gazetted Officer
4. The Magistrate
5. Member of Legislative Assembly.

You also have to attach a written request along with the withdrawal form, citing the reason why you have not got the form attested from your ex-employer.

I have gone through the same case with my friend, but his form was rejected because he had attested his form by a gazetted officer. The PF personnel said that forms can be attested by all those authorities in case the company shuts down its business/work. They informed me about the process as I mentioned in my previous reply.

I would like to inform you that, as posted above by Apoorva, you can follow that process in case of the closure of the Establishment. If your Establishment is presently covered under EPFO, then you can't follow the above-mentioned process.

In your case, you have to write an application along with Form 19 & 10C to the concerned RPFC, in which you have to mention that your employer is denying signing your PF withdrawal form. They will manage themselves.
