I am currently working in an IT company and have recently resigned. Below are my details:

Employment Details

Joining Date: 19/11/2007
Last Working Date: 14/11/2012

Last year, in the month of October, I took a one-month paid leave. Now, am I eligible for gratuity? Please let me know!

Firstly, you should check the total number of working days you have completed in your company. According to your details, it does not cover five years of working days, which are necessary for gratuity payment. On the other hand, it entirely depends on your company whether they will pay you the gratuity amount or not.

Hi Shrey, Under the Gratuity Act in India, an employee should work for 4 years and 240 days to be eligible for gratuity. Each year, an employee must work for 240 days to count as a full year. Based on the information provided, please review your details.
