If the organization permits, I recommend that you aim to work on any or all of the projects mentioned below in the time available:
1. Compliance under various/applicable labor laws.
2. Rationale of Emoluments Structure and the differences between various levels.
3. Delegation, Empowerment, Performance Appraisal Systems with special reference to setting of KRAs/KPAs, Targets, and the frequency of actual performance reviews.
4. Systematization of the HR function - the extent, the depth, and the coverage.
5. Attrition/Retention strategies deployed by the organization and their efficacy.
But kindly check out the organization that is willing to receive you as an intern! Also, inquire if the organization has a supportive, nurturing, and educative culture. In the absence or inadequacy of these, you will have to rely upon your own self and self-learning.
