Preparing for an HR Generalist Interview: What Should I Focus On?

Please help me. How should I prepare for the post? What should I read? Currently, I am working as a Recruiter in one of the recruitment firms. I know the role and responsibility of an HR Generalist. I have some theoretical knowledge. Please let me know how I should crack the interview?

HR is much broader, where recruitment is a vital and very important area. First, you have to clarify in which field of HR you want to make a career. Secondly, consider your target industry, and thirdly, understand what you mean by HR Generalist. In MNCs or big industries, you may need to specialize in one field, but in smaller industries, one HR professional often handles all aspects.

Clear your thoughts and then let me know. Only then can I suggest accordingly. Always try to leverage your qualifications, experience, and expertise rather than attempting to pursue a career in another field.
