is there should be "increase the number of CV's, increase the amount of CV's, increase the quantum of CV's.
what is right?

I suggest, instead of mail; you can directly call the consultant and discuss the matter.
In fact, this matter could have been sorted out earlier, if an appropriate mode of communication has been used.
