How Can I Recruit Freshers Without Tie-Ups and What Steps Are Needed for Partnerships?

Deepika tomar
Dear All, I have recently joined a small software company as an HR professional, and my boss has instructed me to recruit freshers from educational institutes or training institutes. Therefore, it is necessary for us to establish tie-ups with these institutes. However, even without tie-ups, we can still attract candidates. Could anyone please provide me with general details on this matter? If we do decide to form tie-ups, what are the necessary steps we need to take?

Thanks,
Deepika

As your boss advised, if you want to recruit fresh candidates, it is better to approach educational institutions or training institutes. Candidates trained by these institutes would be a better option, and moreover, you will not have to pay any recruitment fees. There are no formalities required to tie up with professional training institutions. You simply need to approach them by phone, and later, you can communicate with them. Just inform them of your requirements, and they will send profiles or a tracker sheet. Based on those, you can arrange interviews. If necessary, you can even visit the training institutes to conduct aptitude tests and select candidates for further rounds. We are also recruiting in a similar manner. If you have any doubts, feel free to reach out to me.

To hire fresh candidates, a training institute is the best option. I have done the same in my first job. It is not necessary to have a tie-up with any institute; you can contact multiple institutes for the same requirement. You just need to call the institutes and make them aware of your requirement. Ask them to send the list of students along with their CVs who are most suitable for the position.

Once you receive the list of eligible candidates, you can sort them based on their credentials and conduct a telephonic round of interviews to assess their skills and match them with your requirements. Finally, you can call the selected candidates for a technical round at your office.

I hope this reply may be useful to you.
