Confused About My PF Transfer Rejection: What Does This Mean and What Should I Do?

provoke_abhi
Dear all, I moved from one organization to another recently. I applied for a transfer by filling in Form 13 (revised). I received a message stating "Form 50 (transfer in) Claim ID: xxxxx rejected. Rejection letter is under dispatch." If anyone can elaborate on this, please do so that I can check the status.

Thanks in advance.

There are many reasons for the rejection of PF transfers and PF claims. Please check if you have filled your PF form correctly. Did your employer submit the Form 3A for your transfer? Please recheck the same. Try to resubmit the application and wait. Alternatively, the best way to be acquainted with the status is to visit the nearest PF authority.

Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I had a doubt regarding whether 3A has to be submitted along with Form 13. As far as my understanding goes, only withdrawal claims require 3A. Could you please assist me with this?

Thanks,

Dear All,

My PF transfer status shows as Rejected with the reason mentioned as "Claim has been rejected due to transfer claim cheque has been received and sent to cash for credit confirmation on process".

I am unable to comprehend the reason for rejection. All the documents were submitted to the PF office along with a cheque issued by my previous employer. My previous employer has a PF Trust (exempted).
