Ever imagined a day would come when the bearer at the nearby South Indian restaurant would speak better Hindi than Tamil? Have you started speaking in broken Hindi just because your security personnel don’t understand the local language?

Join us for a one day workshop on understanding the problems of migrant workmen, the constitutional and legal provisions in the act and ways to deal with them at the workplace
Workshop Facilitator: Mr. V Rajaram (Retd. Dept. of Labour, Govt of Tamil nadu)
Mr. V Rajaram comes with 36 years of experience in the labour department of the Govt of Tamil nadu holding various positions across the state. He holds post graduate diplomas in labour and administrative laws, personnel management & industrial relations and labour welfare. He has been a recipient of best service award from the labour commissionerate and has settled innumerable labour disputes across the state. He is presently freelancing as a labour consultant and a resource faculty for B schools teaching Industrial Relations.
When? 09:30 am to 04:30 pm on Sunday, the 09th of Sept 2012
The venue shall be open for Registration from 9:00 am
Where? Indian Society for Training & Development, No 37 Chateau D Ampa No 11 4th Floor, Nelson Manickam Road, Aminjikarai, Chennai - 600029
{Landmark: The building is located a few hundred metres before Skywalk mall and has a small temple in its premises. It is adjacent to ICICI Bank and opposite to HCL Technologies}
Participation info: Rs. 900 for members and Rs.1100 for non-members
(Includes Lunch, refreshments and workshop materials)
