I have joined a pharmaceutical company, which is a startup located in Andhra Pradesh. The headcount of our company is 9, including medical representatives and other administrative and accounting staff. I have already registered our company with the AP Shops and Establishment Act.

Seeking Guidance on Statutory Registrations

Could you please enlighten and educate me on what other necessary statutory registrations I should make? As an HR professional, what implementations or ideas can help me demonstrate that I can be an asset to my company?

Is it a manufacturing company or just a distribution company? If it is a distribution company, then you should enroll with PT, Commercial Tax (Sales Tax), and Drugs License. For the sake of employees, you should also enroll with ESI and PF.

Currently, the count of employees is 9. Hence, are we eligible? Please suggest some ideas where I can contribute to my company's growth.

Yes, you are eligible for enrollment in ESI and PF. You should opt for voluntary enrollment in both.
