How Can I Get My Final Dues Settled After Resigning Without Notice?

Vinay Gor
Guidance Needed for Employment Dues Settlement

I was working as a Senior IT Executive in a company, but due to some unavoidable situations, I resigned from my job without having a new job. As per my employment letter, a one-month notice period is required. I left my job on an immediate basis (the same day). Now, I am asking my company to settle my dues, but they are not listening to me (I have asked for the same on the phone only).

Ways to Follow Up on Dues Settlement

What ways can I follow up for the same? After resignation, how many days do I have to wait for my F & F?

Dear Mr. Vinay Gor, I do not understand why, when you have trouble working, you can't inform your HR before leaving. Employees don't realize the pain of HR recruiting the candidates without more ado. However, resignation alone wouldn't be a sufficient word for getting your F&F. You need to get the resignation accepted by your employer, and the importance of the "Notice Period" is to find a suitable candidate to replace you, and that is how they ensure situations.

We now have different circumstances here. If you left the job in the middle of the month, you are not entitled to any pay. If you have worked for that month completely, your monthly salary may be predetermined. Although, if the employer incurs any sort of losses from your "Serve a Month," you may be asked to "Pay a Month" and do your F&F.

"Pay a Month" depends upon company to company. Some might ask to pay the basic from your salary, and others may have to get it in big. Check with your employer and do it accordingly.

P.S: Do not forget to take your resignation acceptance or relieving. Utmost crucial papers of endurance.

No problem if you have immediately left your job; then you are liable to pay one month's salary to the company. That is the notice period condition. After that, they will give you your full and final settlement.
