Maternity Leave Benefits for Employees Not Covered Under ESIC

If an employee is not covered under ESIC and wishes to avail of maternity leave benefits, where can she access these benefits? Will the company provide the maternity leave benefit?

If she is not covered by ESIC, the company has to pay her the maternity benefit under the Maternity Benefit Act, if applicable to it.
