Is Now a Good Time to Invest in the RPO Market in India? Seeking Your Insights

One of my friends is seriously looking to invest in the RPO business, and he is willing to invest a good amount in this venture. However, I would like to seek advice from people with experience in this industry: Is it advisable to invest in the RPO market now? Your insights on the current RPO market in India would be highly appreciated.

The current RPO market in India is still in its infancy because of small players that don't understand RPO or the process outsourcing. Some big players have already made an impact and deploy experienced recruiters to client sites, but the smaller players or recent entrants confuse RPO with 'placement,' which is erroneous. Investing in RPO may lead to no returns, and it might be better for your friend to co-invest with other like-minded individuals in a recruitment technology business. Again - my POV.
