I have a doubt about the Professional Tax in Andhra Pradesh. The slabs are based on gross salary. However, I am uncertain whether the tax is calculated on the gross salary or the earned gross salary. Can anyone clarify this?

Yes, Professional Tax has to be deducted from the earned gross salary.
