Assuming a total salary of ₹44,000 * 12 = ₹5,28,000. If you don't use Section 80C or HRA, then TDS will be ₹35,600 per year, i.e., ₹3,000 per month. If you use Section 80C, then your TDS should be ₹22,800 per year, i.e., ₹1,900 per month. If you claim HRA and Section 80C, then TDS will be lower depending on your HRA amount.

Hope that helps.

First of all, please provide details of the salary. If this is the net amount after all deductions, then TDS is Rs. 36,668/- per annum. (Monthly deduction is Rs. 3,056/-)

Thanks

As you wrote in your earlier blog:

HRA: 13,200/-
CCA: 4,400/-

Yearly CTC

316,800
158,400

- HRA: 7,360 * 12 = 88,320

- PF deduction @ 12% of Basic: 38,016
Total deductions: 135,936

Taxable Income and Tax Calculation

Taxable income: 528,000 - 135,936 = 392,064

Please review the above details and let me know if you need any further clarification.

Thank you.

For your reference, PF contributions from the employer will be taxable, while those from the employee will be tax-free. Please find the revised calculation sheet attached for your review.

If any savings fall under the 80C category, taxes will be reduced. Additionally, any other benefits provided by the employer, such as bonuses or leave encashment, will be subject to applicable tax rates.
