Office Relocation: Do We Need to Inform the Labor Office and How?

Hi Friends, I am working as an HR Executive in Hyderabad. My question is, if our office address has changed, do we need to inform the labor office? And if so, what steps do we need to take?

Address Change and Certification Requirements

I would like to know if only your office address has changed or if the premises have also changed. If your premises have been changed, then you will need to obtain new certification from AP Shops & Establishment as per the Act. If only the address has changed, please provide a change of address letter.

Any change in the information regarding the establishment, which you have furnished earlier under the Shops Act, needs to be conveyed within the prescribed period under the said Act to the competent authority under the Act.

Any changes, whether it is a change of address or premises, must be reported to the relevant authority, i.e., the shop and establishment office.
