Dear Friend,
Your aim is not spelt by you. If you wish to become a Faculty / Professor etc. you have to Plan for M.Phil, Phd etc.
If you wish to continue as a H.R.Professional, Your MBA (HR ?), Dip. in Labour Law, M.A. Psychology etc. is more than enough as Academic Qlfn. and all you need further concentration is gain field exp. in H.R.

Hi Durai,
Wat suresh said is rite. if u want to be in corporate jus focus to get more knowledge in recent updates in HR field & shine urself.
Bt if u wan to shift ur profession to teaching or any other field u can go with M.Phill & Phd

Hello Friend
Doing Phd is a part of learning, it will develop your knowledge. There is no limit for learning, Dont compare studies with the work. If you wanna to do Phd, u have passion in Phd just try, dont go suggestion to anybody.
For doing good things like learning/educations no need to ask suggestion to anybody, just go head.
All the best carry on.

Dear Durailoyo,
Your decision to pursue Phd in Management is magnificient.
Are you planning to do in regular or by distance?
If it is a distance course then you can very well continue your current job as it would be your pleasure in getting experience with study go hand-in-hand.
If you'd like to pursue through regular, check with the courses offered. Many courses will not help in research. You can always opt which can help you to get the right connections and data for your research.

Mr.Durai
As Mr. Suresh, Sudarshnan and other members suggested, is your desire linked to a career goal or you want to pursue it as a mere passion?.In either case, you can go ahead with your decision since acquiring knowledge seems to be your passion going by the number of qualifications acquired by you. We should also do things which we love to do since it will enrich our sense of joy and fulfilment which( the feel good factor) will have a salubrious effect on our functioning in our careers (as a HR Manger etc.). Since you want to do PH.D in management, it will all the more compliment your job also. Further you can also offer yourself as a visiting faculty in Managment Institutes , if you like to grarify your teaching impluses.I am with Sharmila Das in supporting your decision.
