Hi All, my employer has started deducting my ESIC. I just want to know, when will the Temporary Identification Certificate be issued?

Don't hesitate to ask the TIC; it is your right to collect it. Within 15 days, you can get the "Pahachan" card from the department. Ask your employer to update all your details, such as the postal address, nominee name, and family details, in the TIC. It is easier to get the benefit from the ESIC department.

You can ask your HR people for a Temporary Identification Certificate; they will issue you the same. Then you can go to the local office of ESI where they will take your photograph and thumb impression biometrically. Within 25 days, you will receive the permanent ESI card. With this card, you can get treatment anywhere in India.

Is there any possibility for extending the validity of the Temporary Identification Certificate (TIC)?

Hi Team, I don't know much about ESIC, so I need your help in handling this. Can anyone let me know how to download the ESIC TIC from the ESIC site? Please provide me with the complete process.

Thanks,
Vishal Gorisaria

Dear Vishal,

I apologize for the late reply. If you are an employer, only you can download the TIC. To do this, you need to visit esic.in and log in using the establishment code and password provided by the ESIC Department. Once logged in, you will find the options. Simply check the options and download the TIC by providing the TIC number of the employee.

I have generated TICs for various employees of our company, but for one employee, there was a problem with network connectivity during the saving process. Later, when I logged in again to ESIC, that employee was added, but no TIC was generated. Is there any option to generate the TIC again? The employee is now registered in ESI, but no TIC has been generated.

Hi all,

Currently, there is an Aadhar verification process included in ESIC where the employer will verify the Aadhar through OTP, and an E-Pehchan Card will be issued.

Is it necessary to undergo the biometric verification again?
