Dear All, In one of my friend's appointment letters, the following clause is mentioned: "We are pleased to appoint you as Manager for a probation period of six months on the following terms and conditions: 1. Your service can be terminated in writing by giving 3 months' notice on either side."
Now, my friend has resigned from the company last week by giving an email and has provided a notice period of 3 months in that email as per her appointment letter. Her question now is, since she is still in the probation period, can the employer release her earlier without giving any monetary compensation for 3 months? Please help.
