Confused About Provident Fund Processes? Seeking Advice on Training and Certifications

pinky-hr
Hi all, can anybody suggest a program or certification to learn about all the processes involved in the Provident Fund? Basically, I want to understand the entire cycle of steps, the forms to be filled, and the returns to be filed.

I also have confusion about how to proceed with the annual returns for the next year, i.e., 2012-13.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Hi All, All EPF offices conduct training programs. You can contact your regional PF office. Everything is now online, so you do not need to submit any returns. Check the EPF website as they issue circulars regarding this.

As per Mr. Advice, the PF department is conducting PF training, but in Bangalore, we find very few options. You should approach the PF department for more information. Nowadays, everything is done easily. All you need to do is file online returns. There are a few private training institutes where they provide training, but I don't think it is very effective. If you have any doubts, you can ask them here on CiteHR, and you will receive a response.

As per EPF Department instructions, there is no need to submit Form No. 3A, 6A, and Form 12A along with 5 and 10 W.E.F. 01.04.2012 because all the details update automatically while generating the challan. Now, the EPFO department is receiving Form No. 2 (Nomination & Declaration Form).
