Training For Technical Staff

Dear All,
Greetings...
We are looking up for training of our technical staff to keep them updated on latest technologies and market trends.
These people provide support and service to our clients on technical basis.
Would like to know how much hours of training per month is adequate to keep the persons in line with current development. Training can be product based or technology based as well.
Waiting for expert opinions.

Its good that you are trying to invest in your people for better productivity. Initially you can think of having one day (may be one of your lean day, either Saturday or Monday) for training.
To begin with upfront I would suggest the training in Advanced Excel which is useful for all level of people.
