I appreciate all the replies. My suggestion is to continue with your job as you are pursuing an MBA in HR. HR is such a field where you need knowledge of everything, and this experience will help you a lot.
Gain a 360-Degree View of HR
By that time, study a 360-degree view of HR because once you start looking for a job in HR without completing your degree, you may only land a recruiter position in a consultancy, which is similar to telecalling. In the HR field, you need to have both practical and theoretical experience. Starting in a consultancy is good for a start, but I would always suggest gaining knowledge in all aspects of HR. It will benefit you greatly.
If you begin your HR job now, you might get pigeonholed into one area like Admin, Recruitment, Training & Development, or Compensation. So, while continuing with your current job, please concentrate on each HR topic, even minor ones. Identify your expertise and interest in HR sub-topics, and then start your career in HR. Stay connected with Citehr, read posts to gather valuable information, and discuss any challenges you face.
Best of luck with your career.
