Confused About My PF Withdrawal: Why Are My Claims Being Rejected and What Should I Do Next?

AJAY PYRO
Dear All,

I had submitted all the valid PF forms regarding the withdrawal of my PF and Pension amount in the month of July on the 23rd. I received four messages on my cell on August 8th stating:

1st Message: "Form 10C, the claim has been rejected - the rejection letter is under dispatch."

2nd Message: "Form 10C, the claim is under process."

3rd Message: "PF settlement claim has been rejected, rejection letter is under dispatch."

4th Message: "Claim for Form 19 for PF is under process."

After reviewing the messages above, I contacted the related EPF branch office, and they mentioned that there might have been some mistakes while filling the form or the amount not being filled by the employer, etc. They informed me that they have dispatched the rejection letter.

Subsequently, I inquired with my previous employer about this, and they confirmed that they have deposited all the money into my account. Since then, I have waited for almost a week, but neither I nor the employer have received any letter from the PF office.

Could you please guide me on how to proceed further? Awaiting your favorable response at the earliest.

Regards,
AJAY

Please visit your EPF branch office and meet the concerned section employee who handles your previous employer's PF. Inform them that you haven't received the rejection letter and request a duplicate copy, which is very important for you to ascertain the actual reason for the PF rejection.

Once you have identified the reason, contact your previous employer and ask them to address a letter confirming that all formalities have been completed correctly. Submit a fresh PF withdrawal form along with that letter.
