First of all, please remember to check if you have provided the IFSC Code of the Bank Branch on the photocopy of the passbook along with your phone number on the claim form. The PF offices now process the refund of members' balances for withdrawal through NEFT within 15 days to 1 month from the date of receiving. This is why they require the IFSC code. If the claimant fails to provide it, the amount will be sent via ECS through the bank, which can take 2 months or more.
You can check the status of your PF claim on the website
www.epfindia.com by visiting the link "Know Your Claim Status." Enter your region, select the office from the state, provide the company code, and enter your PF number. EPF will then display your current claim status.
