Confused About Ph.D. Admission at CMJU Shillong? Need Your Advice!

Hi guys, I recently came in contact with agencies offering me direct admission to a Ph.D. in Management in regular mode, but I am confused about the university. The university is www.cmju.in, located in Shillong. Please share your suggestions on whether I should proceed with the admission or not.

Thank you for replying, Mr. Arora. I have gone through the link, but I believe a Ph.D. through distance and correspondence is banned by the UGC.

Currently, I am in Shillong and will be here until October 20, 2012. If you can share the agency details and the discussion you had with them, I can visit the University. A Ph.D. cannot be done through correspondence, and these days, such fake institutes have opened their shops in remote places. Only NEHU is recognized in Shillong; the rest of the universities are useless.

Mr. Pulak and Mr. Rohit, if you are serious about your Ph.D., I believe you must go through the provided links by me and Mr. Simhan seriously. What your responses are indicating to me is that you haven't read the threads/discussion properly because all the details that can clear all your confusions about Ph.D. correspondence are there.

I would request you to go and read the threads/discussions to understand what a Ph.D. is all about, the skills required by aspirants, and what needs to be earned before or after enrolling for a Ph.D.

I have just received a request from another aspiring researcher to become his external guide for a PhD study at CMJ University. Based on the information I found on the University's website, I have agreed to help him and am currently in the process of filling out the form to send it back to him.
