helllo everyone ...

I am asif...i find this site superb, awesome and very helpful...

Basically I own a plastic bottle factory, and finding difficulty in setting up a system ....

I will be really helpful if someone can refer to me a book on system development ..by system, i mean such as - format and use of timecards, who should the tertiary labour be accountable to ( such as shift in-charge ) , then how to manage different type of inventories , the control procedure and suggested any format ....

The problem I face is I live in Bangladesh, majority are daily basis labour, someone work 2 days a month, then leaves , after 7 month he comes back and works 15 days ..... then many daily basis worker work all the time he is required to .... how do i manage the most efficient system of record keeping and hours record ....

Can you please whether time card punching is cost effective for daily basis ?

I feel it 'no' since they will take card since labor turnover is very high .... Labor turnover is different hence please do not suggest ways to reduce the turnover,,, that is a different topic ,,,the factory is located in such a situation and operates in a environment where labor turnover is high

HI Asif,
I think you need to implement an ERP software at your factory which manages all your process and gives you results about profit & loss, working hours of employees, their performance, Inventory(from purchase planning to MRN), various type of stock, sale & purchase reports, also calculate your daily production. Along with all this, it will also manage your HR & payroll part, calculate salary automatically and generate various type of reports like salary slip, salary register, attendance card, PF statement, Income tax statement and many more. Hi Asif,
Please recruit a very competent HR Manager with a good pay. So that u get a knowledgeable person to support your system development with his expertise both in HR aspects and also inventory and financial management system. A professional man with a sound MBA in HRM degree is also having a knowledge base in Financial management and stores management as this part of a MBA program. If u wanna get a good and sound incumbent to support your business you need to keep a good budget for Top level management, who will obviously be able to support and take the responsibility to enhance your business and your system development u are looking for. Take care

Hello Asif,
It'll be another way to attend different types of HR training, share with experienced HR persons. Then you can implement or make new idea and standard for your factory.
Best of Luck.

Dear Asif,
I got your point. Yes you can do so with your minimum invetsment of PC & office package for inventory and payroll. NO erp or anything required. I am not sure if you still require this. Let me know if you are still in the same situation, I will get back to you.
Regards,
Tofael
